CBD China

CBD established an office in Beijing, China, in 2009 as the group began increasingly to build connections with Chinese business partners. CBD China now acts as a focal point for the group's connections with China. This includes working with CBD's two partners in AusChina Energy, the Datang and Tianwei groups, and also in relation to the solar manufacturing joint venture CBD has with Tianwei. CBD's Australian businesses source supplies from China, which CBD China manages. CBD China's manager is an Australian, fluent in Mandarin, which has been helpful to CBD in building business relationships in China, from equipment suppliers to financial institutions and joint venture partners. CBD China also continues to look at new markets and relationships that would contribute to CBD Energy's development.
